All items are being treated according to following ethic rules:

  • Only necessary treatments are executed (minimal intervention)
  • Only professionally accepted techniques and materials are being used
  • The original material is reused as much as possible
  • Necessarily discarded materials are kept with the object
  • Only good quality new materials are used
  • Documentation is provided about the condition of the object before and after conservation and restoration

Conservation and restoration assessment always precede the
